- 3D face recognition, hands free. Walk up to the gate and face recognition starts on its own, then the voice prompt tells you to push. Up to 50 faces can be registered.
- See who is at the gate. Press the doorbell and the lock chimes indoors and alerts the Kaadas Lock app, where you see the visitor through the video door viewer, talk two-way and unlock with one tap.
- Fingerprint on both sides. Semiconductor fingerprint sensors on the outdoor and indoor units read up to 100 fingerprints, so the family leaves and returns without a key.
- PIN codes with a decoy. One master code and 20 user codes of 6 to 12 digits, one-time passwords for visitors, and dummy digits before or after the real code so it cannot be read over your shoulder.
- Cards, remote and WiFi. Up to 100 M1 cards tap on the reader, a 433 MHz remote controller unlocks from either side of the gate, and 2.4 GHz WiFi connects the lock to the Kaadas Lock app.
- Dual Sync Unlock with a Kaadas door lock. Add the Dual Sync Unlock Module and one fingerprint, PIN or card opens the gate and the door together. The module pairs the R9KFV with the K9-5W, L7 or R8 door lock.
- Rechargeable battery, stainless steel deadbolt. A 4200 mAh lithium battery slides out of the indoor unit to charge, and a power bank on the outdoor Type-C port revives a flat lock. The stainless steel deadbolt and indoor key cylinder need no power.

Pair the R9KFV with a Kaadas door lock through the Dual Sync Unlock Module and a single fingerprint, PIN or card opens both at once, with no stopping between gate and door. Compatible door locks are the K9-5W, L7 and R8, and the door lock quick linkage in the settings makes unlocking one lock unlock the other at the same time.
