- Finger vein recognition. A finger vein sensor sits under the outdoor handle. Rest a registered finger across the module, then push or pull to open. Up to 100 finger veins can be registered.
- 3D face recognition, hands-free. Face recognition starts automatically as you approach, for up to 50 faces, from 0.4 m to 0.9 m away. Once confirmed, push or pull the handle to open.
- Sweden FPC fingerprint, PIN and card. The FPC sensor holds 100 fingerprints for one-touch unlock. PIN codes cover 1 master, 20 users and temporary PINs, and 2 RFID cards are included, with room for 100.
- 144° video door viewer with a 3.5 inch screen. The outdoor camera records at 1280 x 720 and the 3.5 inch colour screen inside shows who is at the door. Press the doorbell and the lock rings indoors, alerts the app and opens a video intercom.
- Auto lock and security alerts. The lock relocks when the door closes, with a 10 to 90 second delay. Security mode, loitering alert, obstruction and tamper alarms are built in, and five failed attempts disable the lock for 100 seconds.
- Rechargeable battery, USB-C backup. A 4200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery powers the lock and warns below 10%. If it runs flat, a 5 V power bank on the USB-C port gets you in, with the mechanical key as fallback.
- App control over WiFi. Connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi to issue temporary PINs, check the history log, get doorbell alerts, talk two-way with visitors and unlock from the app.
- Dual unlocking and fire rated. Link the Q9 to a Kaadas gate lock and unlocking one unlocks the other at the same time. The Q9 also carries the Kaadas fire rated certification.

Answer the door from anywhere.
The 144° video door viewer captures 1280 x 720 video and the 3.5 inch HD colour screen inside shows the doorstep. When the doorbell is pressed the lock rings indoors, alerts the app and opens a remote video intercom, so you can talk two-way and unlock with one tap. Once the door opens, the lock records the start of a video and keeps it.
Auto-lock, alarms, and dual unlocking.
The lock relocks itself when the door closes, with the delay adjustable from 10 to 90 seconds. It watches for loitering, obstruction and tampering, sounds an alarm after more than five failed attempts in 5 minutes, and warns you when the 4200 mAh rechargeable battery drops below 10%. Pair it with a second Kaadas lock and unlocking one unlocks the other at the same time.
